Bombe Chest

Circa 1775-1790

This magnificent mahogany Bombe Chest is an excellent representation of the style and master craftsmanship of the Chippendale period of furniture making. The meticulous attention to detail is evident from the sides and drawer fronts that are carved out of solid mahogany, to the serpentine front, to the beautifully carved claw and ball feet.
